BAJRA MURUKKU
Ingredients:
Bajra / KAMBU Flour - 1/2 cup
Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup
Salt as needed
Green Chilly - 1
Garlic - 5 small
Butter - 3 t spoon
Curd - 2 t spoon
Cumin / Sesame Seeds - 1 t spoon
Oil - For Deep Frying
Mix together bajra flour, wheat flour, salt, curd, softened butter, cumin seeds, ground garlic, green chilly paste in a mixing bowl.
Add little water and kneed to a soft dough.
Place the dough in the murukku pressing machine with desired hole.
Press into small sized murukku shapes in the back side of laddle.
Heat oil in a pan.
Put the pressed murukku in hot oil gently.
Fry the murukku in low flame until the bubbles completely stops.
Fry on both sides by turning in between.
Remove the murukku and place it in a tissue paper so that excess oil gets absorbed.
Store in an air tight container and enjoy bajra murukku with hot tea.
