BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES

Ingredients:

Soft Butter - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup + 2 tbl spoon 
Baking Soda - 1/2 t spoon 
Salt - 1/4 t spoon 
Wheat Flour - 1 1/2 cup
Butterscotch Essence - 1 t spoon 
Butterscotch Chips - 1/2 cup
Buttermilk - 1/2 cup


      Mix together butter and sugar until creamy.


      Add buttermilk, salt, butterscotch essence and mix well.


      Add wheat flour, baking soda and mix gently.

      Add butterscotch chips and fold gently.


      Refrigerate the cookie dough for 1/2 an hour.


      Make small balls and flatten the cookies.


      Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes until the bottom of the cookie turns golden.


      Cool the cookies completely in a wire rack and store in an airtight container.
