WHOLE WHEAT BREAD
Ingredients:
Active Dry Yeast - 1 1/4 t spoon
Sugar - 2 tbl spoon
Water - 1 cup
Salt - 1 t spoon
Oil - 2 tbl spoon
Wheat Flour - 2 1/2 cups
In a bowl mix sugar, yeast, 1/2 cup water and allow it to rest for 15 minutes.
Once the yeast water becomes frothy, add wheat flour, salt, oil, 1/2 cup water and kneed to a soft dough.
Brush with oil and cover with a wet cloth.
Allow it to rest for 1 hour until it doubles.
Punch and again kneed for 5 minutes.
Apply oil in bread pans, make logs using the dough and place it inside.
Keep it covered for 45 more minutes so that the dough gets raised.
Brush with milk and bake in a preheated oven at180 degrees for 35 minutes or the top gets golden.
Transfer the bread to a wire rack and allow it to cool completely.
Cut into slices and enjoy homemade whole wheat bread.
