CHICKEN  SUKKA

Ingredients:
Chicken - 1/2 kg
Onion - 2
Curd - 1/4 cup
Salt as needed 
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 t spoon 
Red Chilly Powder - 1 t spoon 
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1 t spoon 
Coriander Powder - 1 t spoon 
Cumin Powder - 1/2 t spoon 
Garam Masala - 1/4 t spoon 
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon 
Kasuri Methi - 1/2 t spoon 
Lemon - 1/2 
Oil - 1 tbl spoon 


      Sauté sliced onion until golden.
      Mix together caramelised onion, chicken, salt, chilli powder, Kashmiri chilly powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, curd, kasuri methi, lemon juice and mix well.


      Allow the marinated chicken to rest for atleast 1/2 an hour.


      Heat oil in a pan and cook chicken closed for 10 minutes in medium flame.


      Chicken leaves water while cooking.


      Open the lid and cook until the chicken gets soft and dry.
      Add 1/2 t spoon of ghee and chopped coriander leaves.

      Enjoy chicken SUKKA with rice or chappathi.
